The Accountancy act compels Bulgarian registered companies to announce their annual accountancy report in the commercial register.
The deadline for this is June 30th 2008.
However, the problem with this situation is that a Bulgarian company cannot announce its accountancy report with out re registering the company first!
This means that the dead line for Bulgarian company re registration is effectively
30th June 2008.
Failure to complete this process will lead to the company being wound up, and all assets, property, cars, land etc, will be lost.
This may seem unfair, but this is a necessary process and is part of the modernisation of Bulgaria. Plenty of notice has been given by the government, and there really is no excuse for non compliance.
