I'm looking for an immediately available Building Surveyor for a housing association to be based around the Forest of Dean, Cotswolds, Stroud, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester areas.

Duties of the Building Surveyor:

Undertake inspections for damp, condensation, subsidence, structural and dilapidation related issues
Provide technical expertise within the service area and give clarity of work requirements where needed to contractors or the internal repairs team
Assist with options appraisals of void properties and reviews of the housing stock
To have a real focus on achieving high levels of customer advocacy and problem resolution

I'd be interested in speaking to Building Surveyors who are:

A qualified and trained surveyor
As a minimum, you will possess HNC (or equivalent) or above in Construction, Housing or a Commercial/Business related subject
Membership of RICS or CIOB is desirable, but not essential
