Part-Time Practice Accountant

£35,000 - £40,000 full-time equivalent

Newly-created opportunity in a small but growing local accountancy practice as the owner steps away from some day-to-day duties to develop new business. At the moment, the role requires a part-time accountant but this could be reviewed in the future and would depend on whether the incumbent could devote more time to the position.

We're looking for someone experienced in practice accounting who can look after a portfolio of small businesses and sole traders. You will have experience of using a wide range of systems such as TaxCalc, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. You will be knowledgeable in areas such as personal and corporate tax and will be able to sit down and liaise confidently with clients and produce a set of accounts. Beyond this, you'd ideally have the expertise to offer guidance in areas such as tax savings advice.
