To perform system developments and support as directed and provide guidance to junior developers where required.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly, in a rapidly developing technical environment and will be required to perform whatever tasks are required to ensure that work is completed to agreed timescales. It may also be necessary to assist or cover for, other staff from time to time and to provide occasional out-of-hours cover as directed by management.

The key duties of the post are as follows:-
Perform end-to-end software development from design, coding to bug fixing, of multiple feature areas, in a .Net/VB6 development environment. This will also require the job holder to perform systems analysis, produce and peer review specifications to agreed standards to aid the development process.
