Trade Counter Assistant - Near Cheltenham - Temporary to Permanent - Starting Pay £9.62 an hour. We are recruiting for a multi skilled Trade Counter Assistant for an independent builder's merchant near Cheltenham. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.00pm with some flexibility. Duties and skills required for the Trade Counter Assistant near Cheltenham include: * Assisting customers face-to-face on the trade counter* Taking incoming phone calls.* Wrapping and packing sold goods.* Order picking orders for delivery and collection.* Replenishing stock.* Merchandising.* Reordering stock.* Manual Handling. * Forklift licence useful (but not essential).* Computer skills necessary and full training on our POS system will be provided.* Must be able to work solo and as a team.* Take instruction from line manager.* Good communication skills.
